Short films from NYC Chinatown: Art & Activism through Storytelling by Think!Chinatown

Visiting from NYC, Think!Chinatown brings a selection of their storytelling projects to Montreal. These short films tease out complex stories of immigration journeys, the birth of the Asian American movement, and the everyday lives of Chinatown community members.
Following the screening, Executive Director of Think!Chinatown, Yin Kong, will discuss how storytelling is an essential part of T!C’s practice in their creative placekeeping work.
