This series of three curated deep dives, called Fortunes & Futures, is presented in collaboration with the MEM—Centre des mémoires montréalaises, where the talks will be taking place a short walk from Chinatown. All talks are listed on our Events page.

What began as an import-export business evolved into a noodle, dumpling wrapper, sauce and fortune cookie factory that steadfastly employed and fed generations.
More than a food factory, this exhibition tells the story of Wing Noodles as the nucleus of a community – a place where new immigrants and refugees got a leg up, where family, employees, clients and community were made to feel at home, and where the company’s deeper sense of social responsibility kept it operating out of Chinatown helping to shape and strengthen the community here.
